Bukit Tinggi, 7 February — In conjunction with the AEON MALL Chinese New Year Prosperity Blossom, AEON MALL successfully hosted a meaningful festive event that combined cultural heritage with corporate social responsibility at AEON MALL Bukit Tinggi.
A key highlight of the event was the Lion Head Donation Ceremony, where nine (9) school lion dance associations (Jing Sun Welfare Society, Ti-Ratana Welfare Society Malaysia, Hin Hua High School, Kuen Cheng High School, Catholic High School, Petaling Jaya, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Taman Bukit Maluri, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sinar Bintang KL, Khuan Loke Dragon & Lion Dance Association Malaysia, Hong Yi Dragon and Lion Dance Association) received new lion heads as part of AEON MALL’s ongoing commitment to youth development and cultural preservation.
The ceremony began with an auspicious Lion Head Dotting Ceremony, officiated by AEON MALL together with six valued sponsors business partners—The Film Engine, Toy World Malaysia, Poh Kong, ITSU, Souper Tang, and Hock Kee—symbolising collective prosperity, collaboration and shared values.
The lion head donations aim to:
• Support the continuity of traditional cultural practices
• Encourage student involvement in co-curricular activities
• Reduce financial constraints faced by school associations
• Empower the younger generation through discipline and teamwork
This initiative reflects AEON MALL’s role as a responsible corporate citizen, working closely with its tenants to create positive and sustainable community impact, especially during significant festive periods.
